GARETH BARLOW

I'm an award-winning broadcaster working for Sky News. I present weekday Breakfast from 6am Monday - Friday, from 7 you'll find me on air alongside Kay Burley. Previously, I worked for the BBC. Before that I was an award-winning sheep farmer and meat supplier.

I've presented news programmes on television and radio, alongside hitting the road to bring viewers the latest from around the world and across the UK.

I anchored rolling news on the first day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as protestors stormed the US capitol and while Wagner forces marched on Moscow. I've worked for the BBC World Service, BBC World TV, BBC News and for radio stations in the US and New Zealand.

Prior to broadcasting, I supplied lamb to some of the UK's most prestigious restaurants from my farm in North Yorkshire. Despite my family not being farmers - I sold my Xbox aged 17 and bought six sheep, by the age of 23 I had almost 600. A trained butcher and slaughterman; my story was followed widely by national and global media outlets.

I'm represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Commercial/work enquiries please contact my agent, Ali Spiesman.
